On and off I’ve been participating with Aby at Creative Organizing and her Finish it Friday posts. I’m back on board for this weekend. There is so much on my todo list lately preparing for the baby.
Play List
- Try to relax and enjoy time with the family.
- Get to JoAnn’s to look at fabric for the crib bedding.
- Pick out paint color for crib
To Finish
- Vacuum Living Room, put away extras
- Take extra recycling to the recycling bank
- Put together coupons and lists and get to Publix & Kroger to shop
- Get through 3 storage boxes in the closet.
- Okay I think that’s a manageable list and hopefully I’ll get it all accomplished.
We had a great weekend. Saturday was great we got lots accomplished around the house and the yard. Sunday I got all of the kiddo’s closet cleaned out and the clothes swapped. Then Sunday afternoon the kiddo kind of slowed down and then later in the evening he ended up with a 102 / 103 degree fever that lasted through the night and still around today. I would have liked to be more productive but I’m super pleased with all that we accomplished.
To Finish List:
- Clean out and Organize the kiddo’s closet (pack up summer clothes)…FINISHED!
- Tackle the hanger issue…FINISHED!! I can’t wait to show you pictures of the solution.
- Yard Work…lots of hard work accomplished….then the next day the leaves fell.
- Clean off the Kitchen table …started but not finished. This is my major trouble spot in the house.
To Play List:
- Read another chapter in Financial Peace Revisited …went to bed early each night and never cracked the book.
- Scrapbook one layout…started, not quite finished.

One of the organizing blogs I subscribe to has a little blog prompt for Fridays and it is all about getting things done. I am going to follow her template of having two lists, one to finish and one to play. The goal is to accomplish these items over the weekend and I’ll report back to you on Monday.

The goal is to get something done, so I tried not to overwhelm myself with all the items on my mental to-do list. So we’ll see how things go this weekend and I’ll give a detailed report on Monday.
